Circus Vagabond Turned Advertising Creative

Christine Goos

Christine is a descendant of an Italian circus family, and she grew up touring in Central Europe. Sadly, trapeze wasn't in the cards for her. Instead, she ventured into online television, experiential marketing, and ultimately, advertising.

Christine is currently the Head of Content at Smartly.io, one of the largest social media advertising platforms globally. Christine is also the 2017 Young Innovator Finalist, nominated by Google, The Ad Club of New York, and The Drum.

During her 5-year tenure as a conceptual copywriter at the advertising agency TBWA, Christine became the most internationally awarded Finnish creative with over 30 accolades from various industry shows. Christine is the first female to win Young Lions Cyber category in her country and has represented Finland twice at the Cannes Lions competitions. She has been the country's representative for Eurobest Young Creatives Contest and has been shortlisted twice by Ad Age Cover Contest for young creatives.

Christine mentors female creatives who are starting out in the advertising industry, and is in turn mentored by the diversity champion Minda Harts through the General Assembly Mentor Program.

In her free time, Christine writes a fashion column for Saperlipopette (see Press for more) and freelances in the startup advertising space.
